Booth rental on JustBook
Some salons employ their team. Others rent out chairs, booths or suites to professionals who run their own businesses — their own clients, their own prices, their own money. JustBook supports both, and you choose which you are when you sign up.

Two accounts, one address
Section titled “Two accounts, one address”In booth rental there is no single business. There is a venue — the space — and a set of independent professionals working in it. On JustBook each of those is its own account:
- The venue account is the front door. It has your branding and a page listing the professionals who work there. It takes no bookings itself.
- Each professional has their own account, with their own booking page, their own client list, their own prices and policies, and their own payouts.
The two are joined by a link, which puts a professional on the venue’s page. A client browsing the venue’s page picks who they want to see, and books with that person directly.
Why they’re separate accounts
Section titled “Why they’re separate accounts”Because that’s what being independent means. An independent professional sets their own prices, takes their own payments and keeps their own clients — and if those things ran through the venue’s account, they wouldn’t be independent in any real sense.
So it isn’t a settings choice we made lightly: the separation is the point. In practice it means:
- The venue never sees a professional’s clients, bookings, or money. Not restricted from it — it simply isn’t there. Nothing crosses between the two accounts except the listing itself.
- Clients pay each professional directly. Every professional connects their own payout account, so money goes straight to them and their name is what appears on the client’s card statement.
- A professional’s business travels with them. If they leave the venue, they remove the link. Their clients, history, booking page and payouts are unaffected — nothing moves, because none of it was ever the venue’s.
JustBook doesn’t handle rent or take a cut of anyone’s bookings. Whatever a professional pays the venue for their space is between them, exactly like tips and wages.

Salons that do both
Section titled “Salons that do both”Plenty of salons employ some people and rent chairs to others. That works: run the account as a normal salon for your employed team, and link the independent professionals to your page as well. Your page shows both, and the independent professionals keep running their own businesses alongside.
