Create your business

You create a JustBook business by completing a short signup wizard. It’s free and takes no card — your business is created the moment you finish, and everything before that is saved as a draft you can leave and come back to.

Your booking page stays private until you finish setup and Publish it, so nothing goes live before you’re ready — and your free trial doesn’t start until that moment either. This page covers signup; first-time setup and the publish checklist cover what happens next.

  1. Go to the signup page and enter Your email under Start new, then choose Get started. This is the email you’ll sign in with, so use one you check.
  2. We email you a 6-digit code. On the Verify your email step, enter the code and choose Verify email. If it doesn’t arrive, choose Resend code, or Use a different email to start over.

Your progress is saved to your email at every step. If you close the tab, come back and choose Resume existing on the signup page — we email you a link to pick up where you left off.

On the Tell us about your business step, fill in:

  • Business name — how customers see you (for example, Marigold).
  • Business type — pick the closest match from the list (Salon, Spa, Barbershop, Nail Studio, Clinic, Wellness, Beauty & Aesthetics, Tattoo & Piercing, Dental, Therapy & Counselling, Fitness & Personal Training, Pet Grooming, Photography, Tutoring & Lessons, Consulting, or Other). It doesn’t limit anything you can do.
  • Country — where your business operates. This sets the country of your payout account, which can’t be changed later, so choose carefully.
  • Currency — the currency you price and charge in. Like the country, this is set now and can’t be changed later, so choose carefully. To use a different currency, set up a new business.
  • Website — optional.

Choose Continue.

On the Claim your address step, type the name for Your booking address. This becomes the web address where customers book with you — for example, marigold gives you marigold.justbookapp.com.

As you type, JustBook checks whether the name is available and shows a green confirmation when it’s free. Addresses are 3–30 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Some names are reserved and can’t be used. When the address is available, choose Continue.

You can change your booking address later from Settings → Business Info.

On the Create your admin login step, add:

  • Full name — the account owner’s name.
  • Email — already filled in from the email you verified; you’ll use it to sign in.
  • Phone — optional.
  • Password and Confirm — at least 8 characters.

Choose Continue. This is the owner account you’ll use to sign in and manage everything.

On the Choose your plan step, pick a tier card (Starter, Growth, or Pro) and a size from its dropdown, and choose monthly or annual billing (annual is 2 months free):

  • Tier decides which features you get. Select Compare all tiers to see exactly what each one includes, or read What’s included for the tier you’ve selected.
  • Size sets your limits — how many locations and bookable stylists the plan allows. Only stylists who take appointments count toward the limit; receptionists and owners are free. You can upgrade to a larger size as you grow.

You start on a free trial. No card is needed to sign up — you add one later, before your booking page goes live. Choose Continue.

The Review & confirm step summarizes your business, booking address, owner, currency, and plan. Check everything, then:

  1. If you have a promo code, enter it under Have a promo code?.
  2. Tick I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Both links open in a new tab, so you won’t lose your progress reading them. The same line confirms you’re 18 or older and, if you’re signing up for a business, that you can agree on its behalf.
  3. Optionally tick the second box if you’d like product news by email. It’s separate and entirely optional — leaving it unticked changes nothing about your account.
  4. Choose Create my account. No payment details are asked for.

JustBook creates your business and drops you into your admin area to finish setup.

  • Your business now exists, but your public booking page is still private — customers can’t find or book it yet.
  • You land in /admin with a guided Finish setting up your booking page checklist. Work through it in first-time setup.
  • Add a payment method is the first item on that checklist and is required to publish. Nothing is charged during your trial; see the publish checklist.
  • When the essentials are in place, you Publish to make your booking page public.

Your free trial hasn’t started yet — it begins the day you publish your booking page. Nothing is charged before then, and nothing expires while you’re still setting up.

One thing to know: an account that’s never published doesn’t stay open forever. If you sign up and don’t go live, we email you a reminder and then close the account after a set period, releasing your booking address. Publishing at any point stops that for good — and since you’ve never been charged, there’s nothing to refund.
