Packages
A package is a prepaid bundle of service sessions a customer buys upfront — for example “5 blow-drys” — and then redeems one use at a time when booking. Packages are managed under Packages in your admin portal.
Packages are a Pro feature. (Note: “package” here means this prepaid product, not a subscription plan.)
Create a package
Section titled “Create a package”- Open Packages and choose New Package.
- Under Package Details, set:
- Branches (required) — the branches where the package can be bought and redeemed.
- Package Name (required) and Price (required).
- Description — optional text shown to customers.
- Under Usage & Validity, set:
- Number of Uses (required) — how many sessions the package includes.
- Valid For Days — how long the package lasts after purchase. Leave empty and it never expires.
- Under Service Restrictions, choose what the package covers:
- Tick All services to let the package apply to every service in your menu, or
- Leave it unticked and pick specific services. If the add-on step is enabled, you can also choose, per service, which add-ons are included at no extra charge. Add-ons you don’t include are billed separately.
- If you choose specific services but select none, the package can’t be used for any booking.
- Under Display & Status:
- Featured package — featured packages appear first in the customer’s package list.
- Package Image — an optional image.
- Active — inactive packages aren’t shown to customers.
- Save.
Sell a package
Section titled “Sell a package”Customers can buy a package themselves from the Packages page on your booking site (when online payments are on — see below), or you can sell one to them directly.
To sell a package to a customer from the admin portal:
- Open the customer’s record under Customers, then in the Packages section choose + Purchase Package.
- Pick the package. The customer can’t buy a package they already own an active copy of.
- If your loyalty program is on and the customer has enough points, you can apply points to reduce the price with Redeem loyalty points.
- Choose how it’s paid:
- Pay in person — mark it paid now (for cash or in-branch card). The package activates immediately.
- Send payment link — send the customer a link to pay online; the package activates once they pay.
- If points cover the whole price, no card payment is needed — choose Activate with Points.
A purchased package lands in the customer’s account, ready to redeem.
Redeem a package into a booking
Section titled “Redeem a package into a booking”When a customer books a service the package covers, they can apply one use of it under Use a Package in the booking flow:
- Only packages that are active, have uses left, haven’t expired, and are eligible for the chosen service appear.
- Selecting a package covers that session; any included add-ons come at no charge, and anything the package doesn’t cover is paid normally.
Each redemption uses one session. When a package’s uses run out it’s marked Completed. If the appointment is later cancelled, the use is returned to the package.
A use is only spent when the appointment is confirmed (moves to Booked) — not the moment the customer selects the package. If a customer starts a booking, picks a package, then abandons it before it’s confirmed, no use is deducted and the package is untouched. A single session can never be consumed twice for the same appointment.
View a customer’s packages
Section titled “View a customer’s packages”On a customer’s record, the Packages section lists their packages with uses remaining and expiry. Filter by Active, Expired, Completed, or All. Each package shows how many uses are left out of the total.
View-only mode: when online payments are off
Section titled “View-only mode: when online payments are off”If online payments aren’t turned on for your business, packages become view-only online:
- Customers can still browse your packages on the booking site, but they can’t buy them online. Instead of a purchase button, each package shows an In-branch label and a notice: “Packages are purchased in-branch.”
- Where you’ve added branch contact details, the notice offers ways to reach you (phone, WhatsApp, directions) so customers can come in or call to buy.
- You (and your team) can still sell packages directly from the customer’s record using Pay in person, and customers can still redeem packages they already own.
Your admin Packages page shows a reminder when this is the case. To sell packages online, turn on online payments under Settings → Integrations — see Connect Stripe.
Changing plans
Section titled “Changing plans”If your plan no longer includes packages, they wind down: you can’t sell new packages, but customers can still redeem packages they already bought, and you can refund those from the Packages page. Upgrade again to sell new packages. See Plans and billing.
