Import from Fresha
Moving from Fresha takes two steps: export your client list there, then import the file here. A few hundred clients typically takes under five minutes end to end.
Export your clients from Fresha
Section titled “Export your clients from Fresha”- In Fresha (on a computer), open Clients and go to your clients list.
- Choose Options in the top-right, then Export.
- Pick Excel or CSV — JustBook accepts either, so take whichever Fresha offers first.
- Save the file somewhere you can find it.
If you don’t see the export option, your Fresha role may not have the “download clients” permission — ask the account owner to run the export or grant it.
Import into JustBook
Section titled “Import into JustBook”Open Customers → Import, upload the file, and follow the steps in Import your clients. Fresha’s columns — first and last name, mobile number, email, client notes, and “Accepts marketing” — are matched automatically; just review the column matching and confirm.
Two Fresha-specific notes:
- “Accepts SMS marketing” isn’t imported as consent — JustBook uses the main “Accepts marketing” column. You can keep the SMS column as text on each record by ticking Add ignored columns into the customer’s notes.
- Extra profile details like date of birth or gender have no dedicated field in JustBook; the same option keeps them in the customer’s notes.
What can’t come across
Section titled “What can’t come across”Saved cards can’t be transferred — from Fresha or any other system. Fresha’s own help pages say card details “cannot be exported or transferred”, and that’s not them being difficult: card-network security rules (PCI) prohibit every platform, JustBook included, from handing stored card data to another system. Your clients enter their card once, the first time they book or pay with you, and it’s saved from then on.
Appointment history exports separately in Fresha (Sales → Appointments) but can’t be imported into JustBook — your booking history starts fresh.
