A team member can't see the calendar

A team member opens the calendar and it’s blank, or they can only see part of it.

Their role doesn’t have the Appointments permission. The Appointments permission is what lets someone view, create, and manage all appointments across the calendar. Without it, a receptionist or manager whose role never grants it sees an empty calendar. (A stylist is the one exception: even without the Appointments permission, a stylist still sees their own appointments — just not everyone else’s.)

Fix: grant the Appointments permission to their role in Settings → Roles & Permissions. Everyone in that role picks up the change.

  1. Check the role’s permissions. In Settings → Roles & Permissions, open the person’s role and confirm Appointments is turned on. That single permission gates the whole calendar.
  2. Are they a stylist seeing only their own bookings? That’s expected without Appointments. Grant the permission if they need to see the whole team’s calendar.
  3. Pick a branch first. The calendar is branch-specific. If they haven’t selected a branch after signing in, prompt them to choose one.
  4. Confirm they’re assigned to a branch. A team member with no branch has nothing to show. Add them to the right branch under Team.
  5. Have them sign out and back in. Permission changes apply on their next sign-in if they were already logged in.
